‘Tis the season for festive holiday lights and events!

We have put together a list of fun holiday activities happening across the Treasure Valley this holiday season.

  1. Winter Garden aGlow, Boise

It’s the 20th Anniversary Winter Garden aGlow at the Idaho Botanical Garden.  Visit the dazzling display of over 300,000 sparkling lights artfully displayed throughout the holiday season. Santa and his reindeer Prancer will visit from the North Pole select nights and the Holiday Express, a G-scale model train, will wind its way through the glowing winter wonderland.   1. Photos with Santa at the Boise Towne Square Mall, Boise

Now until December 24, you can have a photo taken with Santa at the Boise Town Square Mall. Make a reservation to see Santa and spend less time in line. Plus, save 30% on your photos by pre-ordering a package online. Visit before December 9 to save an extra $5. 4. Holiday Movies at the Egyptian Theatre, Boise

For the month of December, on Boise Classic Movie Nights, the Egyptian Theater will be showing various holiday movies. For more info, click here!

5. Boise State University Annual Family Holiday Concert at the Morrison Center, Boise

The Boise State University Department of Music presents their annual Family Holiday Concert. Celebrate the season with this yearly tradition for music lovers in the Treasure Valley! When:December 9 @ 7:30 p.m. For more info: Click Here!

  1. Winter Wonderland, Caldwell

The city of Caldwell ushers in the Christmas season with its annual Winter Wonderland. Grab your family and friends, come on down for a stroll under the lights and take lots of pictures! Downtown Caldwell @ Indian Creek. Now-Jan. 15. More info and directions

  1. Treasure Valley Night Light Parade, Caldwell

The Caldwell Chamber of Commerce presents one of the largest nighttime family parade’s in the Northwest. This two-mile lineup of beautifully decorated floats kicks off the Holiday Season. Starts at 6 p.m. December 3. For more info: Click Here!

8. Procrastinator’s DREAM Christmas Event, Caldwell

FREE ADMISSION to the public! Over 110+ Vendors with a HUGE variety of goods, services, and fun things to see and do.   1. A Country Christmas, Eagle

Bring the whole family down for an all-day event! A variety of fun activities you won’t want to miss! Santa will be ready to meet some kiddos and hear their Christmas wishes! Don’t forget about the FREE carriage rides brought to you by Mountain America Credit Union. Buy some handmade goodies from our vendors at our Christmas Market or warm up with some hot cocoa from our new event Cookie and Cocoa Tasting. Hang out in the kid’s activity tent and write Santa a letter. We have another new addition the Reindeer Ramble! Sign up ( bit.ly/reindeerramble ) for this great 2-mile walk/run that will end right before the tree lightning at 5:37PM!   1. Santa’s Visit to Brundage Mountain Resort, McCall

On Christmas Day, Santa Claus spends the morning on the slopes spreading holiday cheer from 10 am – noon, then heads downtown to the Activity Barn for tubing and photos in his sleigh from 1 – 3 pm. Look for his friend Bruno, the Brundage Bear, to make an appearance, too! For more info: Click Here!

  1. Cadger Christmas Light Show, Meridian

Meridian’s renowned “Dubstep House” has been featured on Jimmy Fallon, the Tonight Show, HGTV, and more. While the Cadgers have moved, their mind-blowing display will still make an appearance this season. Keep an eye on their Facebook page for details. Address: TBD. More info and directions.

  1. Winter Lights Parade & Downtown Meridian Tree Lighting, Meridian

Downtown Meridian will glow with the Christmas spirit on the evening of Friday, December 2 as the City of Meridian hosts the 4th Annual Winter Lights Parade and Christmas Tree Lighting presented by Borton-Lakey Law and Policy. Look for Buddy the Elf and his friend, Jovie, on Center Stage – sponsored by Idaho Independent Bank. They will be here to help Santa ignite the imaginations and joy in the hearts of young and old alike. The Winter Lights Parade will light up the night in a fantastic display your family will love. Warming stations with hot cocoa can be found throughout the parade route. Watch for the Grand Marshal in the horse-drawn carriage. Hint: You can get a free ride in the carriage after the parade. For more info: Click here!

13. Visit Santa at the Village at Meridian, Meridian

From now through December 24, visit Santa in his cozy house Monday-Saturday 12pm-7:00pm, Sunday 12pm-6pm.  Santa takes a break daily to check on his reindeer from 3:30pm-4:00pm. December 24th hours: 12:00pm-4:00pm (line will be cut off at 3:00pm) For more info: Click Here!

  1. Nampa Holiday Lights Tour, Nampa

On December 16, experience the beauty of Christmas through the sparkle of lights. The tour will visit spectacular light displays around Nampa. The bus will make a stop at Starbucks for warm beverages during the tour. Depart @ Nampa Rec Center – 131 Constitution Way. Nampa, ID 83686, boarding at 5:45 p.m., departure at 6 p.m.

  1. Santa’s Workshop at the Nampa Rec Center, Nampa

Come spend two hours making holiday crafts, playing games and decorating cookies. Santa will even be making an appearance. Advance registration is recommended. Ages 3-12 December 10, 12-2pm Member $4, Non-Member $5
