Meridian Automotive is hosting its annual food drive to help feed hungry families in Meridian. From December 12th– January 3rd, 2017, you will get $10 off any service or repair when you bring two nonperishable food items to donate to Meridian Food Bank.
“The need is great during this time of year and we’d love to see as many of our customers as possible donating food to the community,” says John Nesmith, owner of Meridian Automotive.

Where: Meridian Automotive, 505 N. Main Street, Meridian, Idaho, 83642.
Why: To help hungry families in Meridian, Idaho.
Per the Meridian Food Bank 2015 Annual Report, the hunger problem in Meridian has increased since last year. The need is great especially for children and seniors. Thirty-seven percent of the people who received food assistance from the Meridian Food Bank in 2015 were children under the age of 18. Sixteen percent were adults age 60 and up.
Suggested donation items include:
- Canned meats: Tuna, salmon, chicken, etc.
- Baby items: Baby food, formula, (Diapers and wipes appreciated too
- Holiday items: Olives, cranberries, stuffing mixes, yams
Donations can be dropped off between 8:00 am- 5:00 pm at Meridian Automotive, located at 505 N. Main Street, Meridian, Idaho.
