Want to start a new holiday tradition with your family? Celebrate this holiday season by running, walking or strolling as a family! Bring your festive cheer with bells, lights, costumes, carolers and Santa! At the end of the race enjoy some hot soup and bagels from local vendors.

Miracle on Idaho Street

       When: Christmas Day, 10am-3pm

Where: Old Chicago Restaurant 730 W. Idaho St.

Tis the season for opening our hearts and giving. Over 1,000 of Boise’s homeless and displaced will arrive at Old Chicago on Christmas day to enjoy a warm and welcoming celebration. Starting with a meal with all the trimmings, a finely dressed table, and generous gifts to open. New gifts like warm clothing, toys, story books, school supplies and blankets will be gifted. Don’t forget that each guest will be able to end their night with a visit and picture from Santa himself.

Idaho Potato Drop

When: New Year’s Eve, 3pm- 1am

Where: Idaho’s State Capital

You won’t want to end your holiday season any other way than by ringing in the New Year at the Idaho Potato Drop. This is Idaho’s signature event and it is best experienced LIVE! This is a free, charitable event so come one come all!! Bring your family and friends and ring in the New Year, Idaho style!
