- Meridian Community Block Party. The annual block party is designed to bring together organizations and businesses whose programs promote healthy lifestyles, develop creativity, and inspire the concept of play. This full day event will feature a variety of vendors from our local community. Class instructors will be on hand to give demonstrations and answer questions about all the exciting upcoming fall activities available in Meridian. There are also some great games and activities for families including arts and crafts, animal shows, a “bounce house” for kids, all types of food, and live radio broadcasts.

- Idaho Career and Job Fair. The Idaho travelling career and job fair is coming to Meridian! Local job seekers or people looking for a career change will find a wealth of opportunities at this free job fair. More than 50 employers and community partners from a wide variety of industries will be on hand to speak face-to-face with job seekers. Available full-time and part-time positions include hourly, salaried, commissioned, and self-employment opportunities. Community partners will be discussing educational opportunities and the services they provide. This highly effective recruiting format can lead to interviews being set up on the spot. Don’t forget to bring copies of your resume and to dress for success.
